Competing for Norway

Alexandra Andresen

Alexandra is an experienced dressage rider on the international circuit.

Together with the breeding stallion Belamour, Alexandra can look back on an impressive career as a safe and reliable card on the Norwegian national team. In 2012, the couple won at AEG 2012, and was placed at the international competition in Roosendaal. They also became Nordic champions with 77% in freestyle, and Norwegian champions.

Belamour and Alexandra continued their string of successes in 2013 as they won the Nordic Championship individually - and in freestyle, and secured individual silver and bronze in the freestyle at the European championship. The same year, they also became supreme winners of the Norwegian ranking with 456 points and 17 victories. In Roosendaal, they achieved the qualification for another Europeans.

Again in 2014, the couple took all possible victories at the CSI3* AEG and at the International Dressage Show at Roosendaal. In addition, two Silver medals at the European Championships for Juniors fabulously closed the 2014 season.

Due to her back problems, Alexandra has had a pause from dressage competitions, but she is hoping to be back in the saddle soon.
