Short Facts

Belamour has since his approval in 2006 in Westphalia been active in Sweden where he won the Swedish dressage championship for 5-year-olds and also represented Sweden at the World Championships for Young Horses in Verden in 2009 and 2010.

With his Norwegian rider Alexandra Andresen Belamour now has a career as a safe and reliable card on the Norwegian national team. The couple won at AEG 2012, placed at the international competition in Roosendaal and in the summer of 2012 they became Nordic champions with 77% in freestyle and they also became Norwegian champions. Belamour and Alexandra continued their string of successesin 2013 as they won the Nordic Championship individually and in freestyle. At the European championship they secured individual silver and bronze in the freestyle. They won the Norwegian championship and won at the AEG.

In Roosendaal they achieved the qualification for the next Europeans and became supreme winners of the Norwegian ranking with 456 points and 17 victories in 2013. Again in 2014 the couple won everything at AEG and at the international Dressage Show at Roosendaal. Two Silver medals at the European Championships for Juniors closed the 2014 season in a fabulous way.

The Sire of Belamour, Bellisimo M, is competing at Grand Prix level and is the sire of around 30 licensed stallions. Under the saddle of Isabell Werth his daughter Bella Rose is one of the most talented and successful Grand Prix horses in the world. Further offspring such as Blickpunkt, Belamour and Baccus von Worrenberg are incredibly rideable.

Dam sire Lord Sinclair was “Bundeschampion” and later successful in Grand Prix. Belamour has succeeded in adding flexibility, rideability and movements. He is best suited for noble mares.
